Forsyth Farmers Market
Every Saturday in October, Forsyth Park transforms into a community hub for the Forsyth Farmers Market. Stalls brim with local produce, baked goods, and handmade items. Grab a coffee, wander under the oak trees, and enjoy Savannah at a slower pace.
Savannah Wiener Dog Races
It wouldn’t be October without a dash of fun. The Savannah Wiener Dog Races are a much-loved tradition, drawing crowds to cheer on dachshunds (and “almost Wieners”) as they race across the track at Plant Riverside. It’s as entertaining as it sounds.
